When fish school together, no single fish is the leader, yet everyone is leading. Each small fish creates a larger entity, keeping them safe. This behavioral phenomena called emergence can be observed vast across nature, whether it's ants working together to build a bridge to the neurons in the human brain. This series I explore the movement of emergence through color, texture, and abstraction of schools of fish.
